We do most things in-house because we have a full staff, but Pearl Logic’s audit and analysis, vendor research, project management, vendor negotiation and implementation services was something that saved us a great deal of time and money. They saved us three to four months of in-house work in deciphering and obtaining cost containment solutions. They handled everything behind the scenes. We engaged Pearl Logic for a conversion project from one particular service technology to a totally different technology. Pearl Logic helped with project management by defining the infrastructure that was needed and allowed us to choose the components necessary from vendors that we felt comfortable doing business with. Pearl Logic also came in with ideas to figure out the pricing, delivered new vendor pricing, and brought the components and the technicians that we did not have internally. They brought very good contractors that we still use to this day, and the contractors’ rates were extremely reasonable. We started seeing savings within two weeks. We worked with Pearl Logic on a pretty big project because we had a lot of cost areas to look into. We hadn’t renegotiated our contracts in a while, and it was worthwhile to see if Pearl Logic was able to get us more savings than we were able to get on our own. They really do so much of the leg work for you. When they present to you the potential savings, they do a good job of showing you how things will be implemented and how they help you to get there. They would show up with pre-reviewed, multiple Vendor services order forms that simply needed to be reviewed for changing services, and all we had to do was do a final review and sign. That’s it. Pearl Logic would submit everything and facilitate activities with the vendors. They did a lot of things that we knew we needed to do, but we just didn’t have time to do them. My staff wasn’t burdened at all; it was just me working with Pearl Logic’s staff. It was great having a consulting firm at my disposal to cut costs. Pearl Logic offers a great double check as to just how good of a job you think you’re doing with your business expenses. We retained Pearl Logic to see if there were any additional costs to reduce. Pearl Logic did everything. It was simple really, and we didn’t have to drop any other projects, they did pretty much all of the work. Pearl Logic’s no upfront fees basically gave me a no lose situation. Why would anyone be hesitant about saving money at no cost? As the General Manager of an entire complex, including four golf courses, I had prided myself on the basis that we had already explored every option for reducing costs. Because of the current financial times, all of our departments were charged with reducing our budgets by a certain percentage. We specifically engaged Pearl Logic for reducing a variety of overpriced services, which included several departments.
